The average life expectancy of a Russian orphan is only 30 years of age. While many have lost parents to death, over 90% of Russian orphans still have at least one living parent but have been orphaned because of alcohol abuse, financial distress, or other social factors.
Sasha was orphaned at a young age and bounced around the foster care system. He endured abuse and didn’t have much of a future. After aging out of the foster system he was brought to Change30 which helps orphans get a leg up in life and empower them with a purpose and identity in Jesus Christ!
