Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to meet you! Once Welcome Home is complete, we encourage you to find another small group where you can continue growing in your faith as you build new friendships. River Valley Kids will be running Midweek for children in K-5th grade at the same time as Welcome Home. Midweek is a place where your kids will dive deeper into the topics shared during a Sunday service with fun elements of games and treats sprinkled in. If you have a child under 5 you will need to find childcare.

Looking to find community and connect with others in a similar stage of life? Join us we connect as couples with young kids. They say raising kids takes a village and who better than surround yourself with other believers who can encourage and speak truth into your life and marriage. Join us as we dig into different bible studies to grow in our knowledge of God's Word, parenting skills and marriage. Our group meets over zoom twice a month. We found last year when having to do our group over zoom that it actually worked well for families with little kids to find community in this way (just put your kids to bed and hop on your computer). We will be trying to meet a couple times a small group season in person for family fellowship times. Please have each spouse register for the group. Look forward to having you join us!

We will be studying "The Book of Colossians" by Louie Giglio, an eight-session series that will take us through the book of Colossians. Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of lies we believe and wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. We meet from 6-8pm. Starting on 9/18 through 11/20. Childcare included.

Men pursuing the promises and equipping of God to realize true freedom, purity, and discipleship. Authentic Manhood will run for 12 weeks (week of 9/11/2023 through week of 11/27/23). This is one part of the three-part Discipleship challenge (Promise Principle, Disciplines of a Godly Man, and Authentic Manhood). There is a high level of focus & commitment required, but the fruit of this journey is sweet. We will be meeting at the Crosstown Campus in Conference Room A (second level).
