We are looking for people who love to cook and bless others with meals who can be part of Shakopee Campus's Meal Train Ministry! From time to time, we receive requests for Meal Trains to be organized for families who are transitioning with a new baby in their home, for those who are recovering from illnesses, or those who are overwhelmed with life's challenges or a recent family death. Do you love to cook and want to use your culinary talents to bless others in this way? Then join our Meal Train Ministry to be added to the email list and get notified when meals are needed for a Shakopee Campus family! Thanks for being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Ephesians 3:12 says, "In Christ we come before God with freedom and without fear. We can do this because of our faith in Christ." Join us this semester as we look at what the Bible says it means to live in freedom as we study the book of Ephesians. Sisterhood is a group where women can find fulfillment and belonging at River Valley Church. This season we are going to explore different characteristics that make a healthy community! This group starts on January 24th and will end on March 28th. You can join this group no matter what age or stage of life you’re in. You also can come at any time! You are always welcome at Sisterhood no matter when you decide to come. Let this be a safe place for you to grow in your relationship with God and build healthy relationships with other women. We can't wait to welcome you! Free childcare will be offered with limited capacities on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will be required for each child individually which will secure a spot in childcare for the whole Sisterhood session. The childcare registration link will be posted soon!

Serve Our Community Group | Together For Good

Together for Good offers tangible opportunities to come alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents. Volunteers offer practical help by hosting children during times of parental crisis, providing respite care for exhausted parents, and surrounding families with ongoing relational support through a network of care. This group will provide awareness and information and will have action steps for those who would like future engagement.

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will meet every Monday beginning on September 18th and ending on November 13th. Explore will begin at 6:30pm and go until 8:00pm. Childcare is provided, and children can be checked in at 6:15pm.

A group for women who want to go deeper into scripture to both deepen their relationship with God and to grow in their faith. Our aim is to allow the word of God to transform our minds and our hearts in fellowship with a community of believers looking for the same.

Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose and we want to help you discover that purpose! You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to meet you! We will meet for 4 weeks during the 9:00am service, on Sundays at the Apple Valley Campus, May 7, 14, 21 & 28. Children, ages 6 weeks - 5th grade are welcome to check into Go Kids! Once Welcome Home is complete, we encourage you to find another small group where you can continue growing in your faith as you build frienships.
