But it comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His word and through prayer. This is the purpose of our Promise Principle Men's Small Group. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for 50 years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to God's promises, principles, and commands.

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will begin on Tuesday, September 26, and will meet from 6:30-8pm at the Minnetrista Campus by the Fireside. It is a 7-week group and will end on November 7.

We will be studying "The Awe of God" by John Bevere, The Astounding Way a Healthy Fear of God Transforms Your Life. This is a six-week, weekly study, with a built-in week for fellowship and fun. Please bring a copy of the Bible Study Guide. You can grab a copy on Amazon, it's a black paperback book. If you have any issues, we'll also have some available. Just let us know if you need a copy! YTH | Boys Bible Study

The Woodbury YTH boys are meeting every Saturday at 10AM at the Starbucks in Kowalskis. We’re studying Daniel, which should take us through to Christmas at which time we’ll switch to whatever is next. The group is mostly targeted at the middle school boys, but we’ll see what it grows into!
