This Bible study is simply to come together and read, engage, and discuss the first five books of the Old Testament (the Torah).

This group will instruct, encourage and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. With the flick of a match a flame is ignited and spreads into a roaring fire. Over 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, a flame was started and spread to Judea, Samaria and then to all nations. Acts provides Luke's eyewitness account of that flame and fire...the birth and growth of the church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, a small but courageous band of disciples preached, taught, healed and loved wherever God sent them. Join us for this in depth study of a movement that has changed lives and history. We are a inter-generational Small Group of both couples and singles. We start each week with a simple pot luck meal and fellowship at 6:00. The study begins promptly at 6:30.

We'll be moving through different books of the Bible, chapter by chapter. The heart of this study is to look at the context of the passage and make observations (What does it say?), Interpretations (What does it mean?), and Applications (How does God want me to apply this in my life?). Whether you're a new believer or have been walking with Jesus most your life, this group will be beneficial for you! You'll be encouraged to study the chapter beforehand and come with questions of your own to discuss. We're meeting virtually Thursday mornings 6:30-7:30am. You can even join the call from work before you clock in.
