This is a Men's Bible Study Group designed to get into God's Word, grow in your relationship with Jesus and connect with others. We will read the Bible together following River Valley's SOAP method. We can't wait to get to know you! We will start the group with the "Take Ground" study guide that is inspired by this year's vision that Pastor Rob shared in January. We believe that we are going to end the year strong as we take ground as a church and see you take ground personally!

You are welcome here! This is a "join at anytime" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Small Groups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. Calling men of all ages! Come and hang out in this small group to sweat a little, laugh a little and maybe even cry a little. We will start the evening off with some manly mayhem playing sports (ex. Kickball, ultimate, spikeball, cornhole, kanjam, etc) and then moving into a time of discussing a topic for the week and breaking into smaller groups to process through it. The purpose is to strengthen, encourage, and stretch each other and make some great friends in the process. Invite your friends and come join Phil Amundson and I for an amazing time! We will meet each Wednesday night starting at 6:30pm and wrap up around 8:30 or 9. Sports will be played at a park just down the street. Contact John or Phil with any questions.
