Prayer is powerful, indispensable, irreplaceable, and makes all things possible! We have been praying nightly online for almost 3 years. Join us whenever you can as we pray for God's Kingdom to come and His will to be done. We are battling in prayer for darkness to be driven back, for America to be saved, for the Churches to be revived, and for the world to be won for our Lord Jesus Christ ! Personal prayer requests will be honored at the end of the meeting. Nightly Monday-Friday 7PM, Saturday & Sunday 6PM. Zoom Room # is 2262218119. MAPer Zoom Cohort 2022-2023

We are launching an 8-month cohort for people who are registered for the MAP and who sense they may be heading to the field in the next 3 to 5 years. The purpose of this cohort is three-fold: 1) To increase Biblical literacy for these people 2) To create community for the MAPers (for encouragement on the journey and to learn how to manage conflict in small teams) 3) To encourage the formation of discipleship relationships with internationals living here. The cohort will consist of two zoom calls a month: 1. The first Thursday morning of each month will be a training and update session from 6:30 to 8:15AM. During the call, we will provide: -- Training on a key topic each month -- Time to discuss the training in small groups -- An opportunity to share learnings from Biblical assignments -- Encouragement and accountability in developing cross cultural relationships with internationals in the US 2. The third Thursday morning of each month will have a 45 minute session with one of our 500 and then a 30 to 45 minute question and response time. -- This session may be 6:30 to 8:15 AM or 6:30 to 8:15 PM, depending on the location of our 500. Schedules will be issued about one month in advance.

God has called River Valley Church to raise up 500 or more missionaries and send them out across the world. Our heart is global because that is the heart of Jesus! Whether you go as one of the 500 or not, we each have a part to play. You might be wondering what your part is and that is why we have this group. You are invited into this space to begin to pray; pray for the 500, pray for people that need to know Jesus, pray for the world, and pray for how God wants to use you. As you pray, God will soften your heart, empower you and give you the courage to take your next step. We will meet once a month.

Join us for our small group as we read ” Finding God in the Waves” by Mike McHargue. Mike shares how his faith dissolved into atheism as he studied the Bible, a crisis that threatened his identity. Years later, he finds his way back to faith! Together we will learn what brain scans reveal about what happens when we pray; how God is revealed not only in scripture but also in the night sky, in subatomic particles, and in us. All are welcome in-person and online as we read, learn, and sharpen our faith.

Join us in uplifting the Church, missionaries, nations, tribes and unbelievers in prayer, that God will intervene according to His Riches in Glory. Prayer is a fundamental tool in taking ground in every aspect of our lives. Let us stand before the Lord in the gap on behalf of the land (Ezekiel 22:30). Mathew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 1 Timothy 2:1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
