Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission (Mondays, Sept 25-Nov 13). For this season, free childcare will be offered with limited capacities on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will be required for each child individually which will secure a spot in childcare for the whole Explore session. If you are new to River Valley or are looking for community in the MPLS area, this co-ed Small Group is for YOU! Every Monday night for the next eight weeks, we will be taking time to look at different scriptures that apply to this time in our lives, building community and having FUN! Financial Peace University is a 9 lesson course that teaches you how to save for emergencies, pay off debt fast, spend wisely, and invest for your future. For over 25 years, Dave Ramsey’s been teaching commonsense, biblical money principles that work. Every time. Our group will meet on campus, Tuesday nights Feb. 28-April 25, 6:30-8pm. We will watch the video together every week and discuss. We will also review the ask for the week, to help plan for taking action together and individually.

Every Friday River Valley Church partners with the ICCM Life Center. Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors and build relationships! By joining this small group, you will be able to connect with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule. Schedule: 6:30-7pm - at the Life Center for a time of prayer and worship. 7pm - load up the Life Center buses with food, drink, clothing, and other essentials. We will drive to various parts of the city focused on encampments, bus stops, and shelters. Throughout the night we will meet people, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus while providing food, clothing, prayer, and so much more. 9pm - debrief, testimonies and encouragment. Embrace Grace is a 12 week support group for young, single, pregnant women walking through an unplanned pregnancy. Gather together with other girls who are in your same situation while benefiting from emotional, practical, and spiritual support. You will be connected with a community of women who will encourage you along the way. You are not alone! Also, at the end of the semester we will celebrate you and your precious child with a baby shower!
