Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But because all Scripture is God breathed and profitable, we must believe that Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible! 2000 years ago, John’s revelation was circulated and read aloud among 7 churches in Asia minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for us today! Join us for this 10 session video Bible study with our teacher Jen Wilkin. Together we will discover how the last book of the Bible speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age.

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This group will instruct, encourage, and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays September 11 through November 6, 6:30-8pm. Doors open and check-in will be available beginning at 6pm. Empower will meet on the fourth floor of City Campus.

This eight-week Bible study will instruct, encourage, experience and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Are you ready to get started?
