The public schools are one of the largest mission fields right in our neighborhoods. This group will meet monthly to inspire, encourage, and equip one another to take ground in our local public schools. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus! We will share ways to get involved in the schools, pray for one another, and take time to connect. Come join us as we encourage one another. You are not alone! For our first meeting, we will meet on September 17th at 3-4:30 pm. There is no childcare but kids are welcome to come if they are self-sufficient. The content is geared toward adults. We know that in church people face a myriad of challenges and we want them to walk in health through what is laid out in scripture. We'll use the book The Emotionally Healthy Church by Peter Scazzero. We will have a theme for each week, along with some Scripture to shed light on it. Each person will have a chance to tell their story in the first half of the meeting, and the second half will focus on Scripture that brings healing. All of us are searching to know God better, that's the goal of our group.
