Parenting is a high calling from The Lord!! This small group is designed to build more intentionality in parenting/discipling your children, using biblical principles while training them up in the ways of The Lord. We will look to scripture and prayer to provide an opportunity to encourage and be encouraged by other parents in our group. We will be inviting various different couples who we have identified as parents who lead their families well and get the chance to ask them questions and learn from them as well as read a book on parenting together!

Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Why don’t we see it that way? Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Let's meet for 10 sessions of verse-by-verse Bible study as Jen Wilkin helps us discover how the last book of the Bible—the culmination of God's great story—speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age. Over half our time will be discussing our study together and other half will be watching Jen Wilkin video for our next discussion & study. We will meet every other week to allow more time to complete your study week's work.

Brave Girls - this is the name we have for our amazing moms to be. If you are a young single mom-to-be, we would love to have you join our group! If you know of a young single mom-to-be, let her know we would love to support her during this time in her life. Volunteers - our group is always looking for other women help us support these amazing young women as prayers warriors, mentors, and classroom leaders. This is an informal group meant to provide a resource for moms to find and connect with other moms! Motherhood can be so challenging and isolating and we may not feel seen or understood. This group is meant to connect moms for encouragement, support, play dates, whatever the situation may be! Participants will share their name, contact info, and city of residence so the information can be shared in a spreadsheet with all members. This can then be used to find and connect with moms near you! There will not be a formal weekly meeting, but members are encouraged to contact one another and set things up personally! Some play dates or mom outings may also be scheduled based on interest.

Come join us as we worship together on the third Saturday of the next 3 months, then go share a meal at a fun hip place around the twin cities metro. Our goal is to build community and to worship together. We will gather at Crosstown's Saturday Service, 4:30pm to worship together, then meet up at a local twin cities restaurant for dinner. Low pressure, only monthly, but I believe will help us develop a great community of people in a similar life stage.
