A study for men who are looking to make a difference in their workplace and family. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30am - 7:30am at Perkins in Chaska. We review the previous week's sermon message, then share testimonies and prayer requests. While we would love to see you every week this is a great group that you can attend when you can because the topic is new each week based on that week's sermon message.

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This group will instruct, encourage, and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays September 11 through November 6, 6:30-8pm. Doors open and check-in will be available beginning at 6pm. Empower will meet on the fourth floor of City Campus.

The vision of this small group is to foster an in-depth study of the Gospel of Luke utilizing higher and lower criticisms. The heart of the group is to equip its members in biblical hermeneutics so that they can read the Scripture in proper context. The small group will touch on the synoptic tradition, the historical backdrop of the land of Israel in the first century, and the cultural and spiritual worldview of Second Temple Judaism. The group will read through the chapters of the gospel, selecting the most important section of each chapter. The group will also read the gospel text synoptically, involving similar pericopes from Matthew and Mark to enhance our understanding of the synoptic tradition. At the very heart of it, my hope is that we all become better students of the word and of Christ through this group.

Join us for an incredibly transformative healing experience in this 11 week small group. Mending the Soul offers a safe and nurturing community for individuals impacted by various forms of abuse, including emotional, psychological, physical, and sexual abuse. You don't have to go through this journey alone. Our group will meet Thursday evenings 6:30pm to 8:30pm, starting on October 3, 2024, through Dec 12 2024 (facilitators: Kathy Ballinger & Michelle Korger; safety and confidentiality are priorities.) All participants are interviewed to assess readiness before official registration for group. Participation requires textbooks and workbooks, which can be purchased for $55.00 plus shipping. We believe in the power of community and in creating resources that promote restorative relationships, as referenced in Isaiah 61:1-2, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor."
