Hi! Welcome to Marriage Small Group! This is an exciting small group focused on the covenant, communication, and foundation of Marriage based on Scripture. Our group will read "Meaning of Marriage" by Tim Keller. Every other week will alternate between group discussion and a guest married couple sharing and answering questions. Topics discussed include but are not limited to: - Tithing - Holy Spirit - Baptism of the Holy Spirit - Fasting - In Laws - Finances - Sex - Boundaries We ask that couples attending this group, consistently attend CTY campus in person on Sundays and attend Marriage Night. Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will meet every Monday beginning on January 23rd and ending on March 27th at 6pm. Childcare is provided, children can be checked in at 6pm. Explore will begin at 6:30pm and go until 7:45pm.

This is a safe place to process and pray through child loss and infertility struggles 1 Samuel 1:19-20 Samuel Is Born 19 The family got up early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord. Then they returned to their house in Ramah. Elkanah lay with his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her. 20 The Lord made it possible for her to have a child, and when the time came she gave birth to a son. She gave him the name Samuel, saying, “I have asked the Lord for him." Samuel's Hope: A group of prayer warriors believing that God will make it possible for them to have a child. We will be asking God to remember us, just as he did Hannah in 1 Samuel, and to bring us a child. This group was created to be a source of encouragement, prayer support, and safe place to share. It's for women who have a desire to have children, but are facing obstacles. It's a place where we as women will stand together and ask God to make it possible. We will ask God to remember us and give us sons and daughters to raise to honor Him. The plan - to commit every Monday to a time in prayer for each other

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled empowered life! This eight-week Bible study will instruct, encourage, experience and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. (Strong RVC Recommendation to take our Freedom Class prior to Empower.) Are you ready to get started? Pregnancy/Postpartum and Early Infancy Group (General baby ages 08/01/22-02/31/23))

This group is intended to bring together pregnant women, moms of newborns, and their babies. These stages of life can be amazing, but they also can rock your world. Based on that, we want to bring together people who are going through these experiences at roughly the same time. This is a BRING YOUR BABY group, but for other children it depends on if they can be gentle with babies. Protecting babies from too rough of play is an absolute priority. When: LAST Thursday of every month, 5:00-6:30OM, starting 08/25/2022 Where: 15653 Eddy Creek Way, Apple Valley MN 55124 Long term this group will hopefully turn into a baby play group! As stated, older children can come, although it's highly important that the babies aren't over exposed to germs or rough play. No childcare is provided, so it's on the individual to know if an older child can handle the environment. Also we do have a dog in our home, caution for allergy sufferers...

Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of lies we believe and wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. Freedom will start on Monday, September 18 from 6:00-8pm in our River Valley Kids auditorium. Freedom will meet for 9 weeks, ending on November 13. Childcare will be provided on a limited basis. A separate registration will be required for childcare.
