Following God isn't about striving; it's about trusting! As we study the chapters Isaiah wrote, we’ll see his challenging words to the nation of Israel and his prophecies of the Messiah to come. We will grow and learn to rest in God's promises as we trust God more and more. Join us for this 7-session video Bible study taught by Melissa Spoelstra…Isaiah's words will reveal that we can trust God more than our own human effort or the counterfeits the world suggests. We will begin to strive less and instead trust more deeply in the Faithful One who is so worthy of our utter dependence.

Embrace Grace is a 12 week support group for young, single, pregnant women walking through an unplanned pregnancy. Gather together with other girls who are in your same situation while benefiting from emotional, practical, and spiritual support. You will be connected with a community of women who will encourage you along the way. You are not alone! Also, at the end of the semester we will celebrate you and your precious child with a baby shower!

In this series we will be studying 1st, 2nd, 3 John & Jude. It will be a very powerful study as we dig into God's word and grow closer to the Lord. We will have an awesome time of learning the Bible, developing friendships, having great discussions, and lifting up one another in faith and prayer. We need each other. Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? The format is simple: We share a meal around a table, listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have discussion together to learn more. Arrive at 6:15pm. If you have children, childcare is provided; you can check them in and drop them off at 6pm. Dinner is provided, but if you have food allergies, plan ahead and eat your own food. Alpha will begin at 6:30pm and go until 8:00pm. This group starts on Monday, September 18th, in the Main Auditorium. Our group will meet for 9 weeks, ending on Monday, November 13th. Also, mark your calendar for the Holy Spirit Retreat on Saturday, November 4th.
