Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of lies we believe and wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. Freedom will meet every Tuesday starting Tuesday, September 26th and ending Tuesday, November 21st. Dinner is not provided. If you have a need for childcare you are able to drop them off in the Kids Wing at 545 and dinner will be provided for them.

Join us as we listen to sermons, marriage night content, podcasts, and books that encourage us to pursue the calling of being a Godly husband and father. Past topics have included, dealing with communication, anxiety in marriage/family, re-energizing your marriage, family leadership, purity, intimacy, parenting and more. Coffee provided weekly. Periodic pancake breakfasts provided. Tuesdays, 6am-7am

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission (Mondays, Sept 25-Nov 13). For this season, free childcare will be offered with limited capacities on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will be required for each child individually which will secure a spot in childcare for the whole Explore session. Good Neighbor Team | Collins

Apple Valley

The Good Neighbor program exists to empower the church to walk alongside refugees and immigrants with the love of Christ. Good Neighbors befriend refugees and asylum seekers by providing practical support and life skills to those who have been forced to flee their homelands. Our team will walk alongside a family for one year. Some of our responsibilities will be: * Welcome newly-arriving refugee family through Arrive Ministries’ Reception and Placement program. * Be one of the first faces to greet this family upon their arrival at the airport. * In partnership with the family’s case manager wewill have the opportunity to assist with appointments and help the family learn local systems, all while extending friendship to our newest neighbors. *Come alongside a refugee or immigrant family already living in Minnesota. * Provide support to families seeking asylum.

This is a 5-part video series study, about a Jesus-centered vision-one that restores our freedom and inspires us to live for more. Based on the book, book Free of Me, this study unveils our deepest insecurities and equips us to focus on God and others instead of ourselves. Discover a purpose bigger than "project me" and experience freedom from the burden of self-focus. We will watch a short message, have a good discussion and then pray together. This is a group for women in their 20s, 30s and 40s.
