Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will begin on Tuesday, September 26, and will meet from 6:30-8pm at the Minnetrista Campus by the Fireside. It is a 7-week group and will end on November 7.

YTH | Boys Bible Study

The Woodbury YTH boys are meeting every Saturday at 10AM at the Starbucks in Kowalskis. We’re studying Daniel, which should take us through to Christmas at which time we’ll switch to whatever is next. The group is mostly targeted at the middle school boys, but we’ll see what it grows into!

GriefShare | Grief Recovery & Support Group

Grieving the death of someone close to you? We know it hurts, and we want to help. Find comfort and support at GriefShare. This 13-week grief recovery seminar and support group is a video seminar series that features Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a Biblical perspective. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the materials presented. Group meets at the Apple Valley campus starting Sept. 25 and runs until Dec. 18. Sisterhood is a group where women can find fulfillment and belonging at River Valley Church. You can join this group no matter what age or stage of life you’re in. You also can come at any time! You are always welcome at Sisterhood no matter when you decide to come. Let this be a safe place for you to grow in your relationship with God and build healthy relationships with other women. Freedom | City Fall 2023

Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of lies we believe and wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Tuesdays September 19 thru November 7, 6:30pm-8pm. Doors open and check in will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on our 9th week - Tuesday Nov. 14 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)

Have you been wanting to go deeper in God's Word? Then join us as we gather weekly with other men from Eagan campus to read & study the Bible together. We'll be moving through different books of the Bible, chapter by chapter. The heart of this study is to look at the context of the passage and make observations (What does it say?), Interpretations (What does it mean?), and Applications (How does God want me to apply this in my life?). Whether you're a new believer or have been walking with Jesus most your life, this group will be beneficial for you! You'll be encouraged to study the chapter beforehand and come with questions of your own to discuss. We're meeting virtually Thursday mornings 6:30-7:30am. You can even join the call from work before you clock in.
