Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will meet every Tuesday beginning on Tuesday, Januray 24th and ending on Tuesday, March 28th. Childcare is provided.

We are looking for people who love to cook and bless others with meals who can be part of Shakopee Campus's Meal Train Ministry! From time to time, we receive requests for Meal Trains to be organized for families who are transitioning with a new baby in their home, for those who are recovering from illnesses, or those who are overwhelmed with life's challenges or a recent family death. Do you love to cook and want to use your culinary talents to bless others in this way? Then join our Meal Train Ministry to be added to the email list and get notified when meals are needed for a Shakopee Campus family! Thanks for being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Group projects are donated to the community. All ages are welcome and no experience necessary. Current projects include tie blankets, loom hats, knitted & crocheted scarves, hats and blankets.

We meet at City Campus, Downtown Minneapolis, as a youth small group to dive into scripture, apply it our lives, and of course have some FUN! Starting Sunday, February 12th, and continuing weekly, City Yth students will be meeting in the campus lobby at 10:30am (or after the 9am service ends). We will spend the time between services eating some treats while hanging out and building friendships with the rest of the youth students who attend City Campus! Afterwards we will have a student section reserved at the 11am for your student to attend service with each other and our youth leaders. We would love to see you there on Sunday mornings!

This group follows the Promise Principle format (details here: http://leaders.rivervalley.org/promise) The Promise Principle is a powerful tool to teach people how to hear the voice of God through reading the Bible. It calls us to a daily God connection in which He speaks clearly through His Word and promises transformation, power, and direction in our everyday lives, (Romans 12:2, 2 Peter 1:3-4). Anyone engaged in The Promise Principle experience what we call the “new accountability”. The old style of accountability focuses on sin management, while this new accountability propels people forward, igniting a passion to seek, hear, and obey the voice of God. This is where freedom in Christ becomes evident in our lives. God can then truly use us to inspire those around us to follow Him.

Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of the lies we believe and the wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. Freedom will meet every Monday starting September 18th and ending November 13th. Childcare is provided, and you can check your children in at 6:15pm. Freedom will begin at 6:30pm and will end at 8:00pm.
