Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will meet every Tuesday beginning on Tuesday, September 26th and ending on Tuesday, November 21st, Dinner is not provided. Childcare is provided and parents can drop them off at 6:15pm.

Serve Our Community Group | Together For Good

Together for Good offers tangible opportunities to come alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents. Volunteers offer practical help by hosting children during times of parental crisis, providing respite care for exhausted parents, and surrounding families with ongoing relational support through a network of care. This group will provide awareness and information and will have action steps for those who would like future engagement.

This small group (led by Gayle Cousins - assisted by Kim Kissner-Admin) is for all men and women, for the purpose of learning about, and engaging in, intercessory prayer in a corporate setting. This is for anyone interested in this type of prayer whether you have had very little experience or a lot!! We will all learn from the Holy Spirit, and from one another, as to how to "pray in" the Kingdom of God, and to pray what is on God’s heart! There will be a short teaching at the beginning of each session and the rest of the session will be engaging in prayer. We would love to see you there!! We will normally meet on the 4th Sunday evening each month, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Feb 12, March 26, April 23, May 28, June 25, July 23, Aug 27, Sept 24, Oct 22 & Nov 26. We are very flexible on the capacity/number attending believing for interest and growth during this year of "Taking Ground!" Prayer is the foundation for the Church, for healthy growth, strength and unity, and for future revival!!

Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays September 20 thru November 7, 6:30pm-8pm. Doors open and check in will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on our 9th week - Tuesday Nov. 14 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)

This is a co-ed group for young adults / young professionals. We will be going through a video series titled Love in Chaos led by Bob Goff. Meetings will occur every other Thursday from 6:30 to ~ 8:15pm starting Sept 14 (contact me for details and all meeting dates). In this series we will discuss that even though we live in a divided chaotic world, God calls us to love one another. We will examine how the Bible teaches us to love even when it’s difficult. Throughout the series, we will examine ourselves and find ways to apply the teachings to our lives while holding each other accountable.I would love for you to be part of this group and join in growing closer to Jesus while making meaningful connections with others at River Valley. Serve Our Community | CST | ICCM Life Center Street Team

We partner with ICCM Life Center for a promising evening of God ordained encounters! Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors, build relationships while connecting with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule. Starting at 6pm we meet at the Life Center for prayer and worship (preparing food is also an option). At 7pm we then load up the Life Center buses and drive to various parts of the city, focusing on encampments, bus stops, high traffic areas and shelters. Throughout the night we will have countless opportunities to pray with, love on, and provide essentials to individuals and families while spreading the JOY OF THE LORD. :) We gather back at the Life Center around 9pm to share our experience, testimonies and encouragement. It’s always powerful to see how the Holy Spirit moves both inside us and through the individuals we meet. Hope to see you there!!
