We will be studying "The Awe of God" by John Bevere, The Astounding Way a Healthy Fear of God Transforms Your Life. This is a six-week, weekly study, with a built-in week for fellowship and fun. Please bring a copy of the Bible Study Guide. You can grab a copy on Amazon, it's a black paperback book. If you have any issues, we'll also have some available. Just let us know if you need a copy! DivorceCare is a biblically based, Christ-centered support group seminar. Each session shows a 30-minute video followed by a small group discussion about the video. The DivorceCare videos present experts, ministers, and Christian counselors discussing divorce-related issues such as depression, anger, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Real people share their stories of how they deal with the pain and heartbreak of divorce and separation. During the week between meetings, group members complete a daily Bible study and practical exercises to help them heal from their hurt and pain. DivorceCare is for people who are separated or divorced.

Meetings will occur every other Thursday from 6:30 to ~ 8:15pm starting Sept 14 (contact me for details and all meeting dates). In this series we will discuss that even though we live in a divided chaotic world, God calls us to love one another. We will examine how the Bible teaches us to love even when it’s difficult.
