Provide an extra set of helping hands during funeral and memorial services
Do you have a heart for helping those who are hurting? The Funeral Ministry Team provides a caring heart and an extra set of hands to help families prepare for a funeral and/or memorial service by setting out their memorabilia, receive flowers, set up the reception room and assist with food set up and clean-up for luncheons.
The Funeral Ministry Team is on an "As Needed" basis.
After applying to join the team Pastor Dave will communicate specific details and instructions for getting you connected and serving in prison ministry.
Our kids are world-changers! Everyone who desires to serve in Kids must complete an application. Upon completion, someone at the campus will review your submission and contact you to determine the best fit for your gifts and schedule.
The Host Team is responsible for connecting with people at River Valley. Hosts actively seek out those who are new to our church as well as those who seem disengaged and go above and beyond to help people feel seen and included.
The Usher Team assists guests with seating as they enter, remains alert to any special needs, facilitates the offering, counts people in a specific section of the auditorium and distributes connect cards and envelopes. These members are also responsible for minor cleaning of the auditorium following the service.
