We require a passport copy or receipt that your passport is being processed/renewed to be turned in at the time of registration, to be approved for this Global Team. Passports must not expire within 7 months of return date and must include 3 blank visa pages, not amendment pages. You can either drop off a copy at our Central Ministries Center, Attn: Cassie Gullickson or email a copy to cassie.gullickson@rivervalley.org.

Please note, your physical passport will need to be turned into Central Ministries (12345 Portland Ave, Burnsville) no later than June 1 and will be kept in a safe until the leader brings it to the airport on the day of departure.

Registration for the team is on a first come, first served basis

To reserve your spot, please submit the online application, deposit of $200, and a passport copy or receipt that your passport is being processed/renewed

Registration opens on Monday, November 7 at 12noon

2nd payment: $1200 due by Monday, January 2

3rd payment: $1200 due by Monday, March 6

Final payment: $900 due by Monday, May 8

INCLUDED IN COST: Airfare, food, lodging (hotel), transportation and international insurance, Global Team swag gear, limited sightseeing, and donation to the Missionary Host

NOT INCLUDED IN COST: Passport fees, and expenses not covered by international travel insurance

Must be at least 17 years old (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in High School) at the time of trip.

Your trip cost covers the expense of purchasing international travel insurance. It is unlikely that insurance would not cover something in a situation. Coverage includes giving each person up to $2,000 coverage if a travel delay, which includes COVID situations in the country. For those that would like a bit more detail, please email us for more information.

If you are unable to travel due to a positive COVID test or other medically related issues, we will do our very best to try and refund or credit you as much as possible but please note, that any expenses that have been pre-paid, pre-spent or are non-recoverable to us will not be able to be refunded or credited back to you.

Global Teams are designed to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of a specific community. We believe that command of Christ to go into all the world has not changed but we are certainly aware and respect the many challenges that exist locally and globally. We will absolutely do our best to take all the necessary precautions and work with our missionary hosts to adjust to the local guidelines but where there are needs and requests from our missionary partners and hosts, we want to provide an opportunity for those who are willing and able to go and help meet the needs.
